Another day…another struggle.
The kids fight all day long. And yes, I mean fight. They are kicking, shoving, biting…you name it, they are using the technique in the epic battle of who gets the remote. Laundry is forever piling up. Not because I don’t fold them, but because I fold them and then give up and they sit comfortably in a pile on our bedroom floor. (There are currently six piles on the floor and two laundry baskets full of folded laundry). I didn’t wash my hair…again…and don’t even get me started on money. No, really. Don’t get me started. There’s nothing there to even discuss.
So yeah, days over here have been hard.
I’m tired. I’m drained. I’m defeated. So, this is my game plan mamas. I am going to drink a glass of wine…maybe two…lets be real, four, and I am going to write down all the blessings I received today. So hang on while I get my glass…..
Got it. Okay. Let’s begin…..

- We read books…lots of books
- Scarlet only tried to head butt me a couple times
- ‘Daddy’ is safe and just the greatest
- Krew didn’t want to sleep so we got 10 minutes to hang out together. Just us.
- My babes have a bed to sleep in
- I have a house to clean
- I have a beautiful house to clean

- My husband loves me…like a lot.
- And I love him…even more

- I’m currently sitting here… writing…sipping wine and crying
- I AM SO BLESSED
I know there are more blessings but I can’t see past the crocodile tears that have welled within my eyes.
Father, thank you for all you do.
Thank you for my life and my love.
Thank you for my gray hairs, too.
